MusicGuess.app respects the intellectual property rights of artists, songwriters, record labels, and publishers.
All audio preview snippets utilized within Music Guess are short (1 to 30 seconds), lower-fidelity identification samples streamed through authorized public APIs (such as the iTunes / Apple Music Preview Search API). These samples are provided for educational music trivia, commentary, and artist discovery under fair use principles and applicable streaming provider terms.
If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe any track snippet displayed on Music Guess infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent at support@musicguess.app containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the authorized copyright owner or agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (track title and artist name).
- Identification of the specific URL or game mode on MusicGuess.app where the material appears.
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, made under penalty of perjury.
Upon receipt of a valid notice, we promptly investigate and disable or remove the contested track reference from our database within 24 hours.
